2012 Outstanding High School Student

The Philadelphia Engineering Foundation and the Delaware Valley Engineers Week Committee of the Engineers’ Club of Philadelphia are pleased to announce two Delaware Valley Outstanding High School Students.

Erinn Menninger; Unionville High School, Kennett Square, PA

• Distinguished honors all 4 years of high school and top 10% of her class
• On the Executive Board of National Honor Society and Yearbook Editor-In Chief
• Participates on the Varsity Girls Basketball Team and the Varsity Girls Cross Country Team.
• Majoring in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University next fall.
• Favorite hobbies include surfing, refereeing local recreation leagues, running, scrap booking, and spending time with my six-year-old sister.

 

 

Justin San Juan; Archbishop Ryan High School, Philadelphia, PA

• Senior honors student in the top 10% of his class
• President of the Future Engineer’s Club
• Member of the National Honor Society, Varsity Mathletes, Archbishop Ryan Ambassadors Club
• Will pursue mechanical engineering and has been accepted to Widener University, Pennsylvania State University, and Drexel University.
• Very involved in school/community activities, such as open houses, back-to-school nights, and tutoring.
• Interests include: math and science, basketball and baseball, music
