2012 Engineers Week in the Delaware Valley kicks off with the Awards and Proclamation Luncheon. This year’s luncheon will be at the beautiful DoubleTree Hotel Philadelphia, in the heart of the Avenue of the Arts.

Formal festivities will get underway with the Student Paper Poster Session and Reception, featuring a cash bar, beginning at 11:00 AM. Come out and meet the award recipients, talking to the students about their papers, and network with your fellow engineers.

Following lunch, we will present the various DVEW awards. The 2012 Engineer of the Year, Timothy H. Haahs, PE, AIA will be formally introduced. Mr. Haahs and the 2012 Young Engineer of the Year, Cathy G. Farrell, PE, will make brief remarks and kick off the celebration of Engineers Week in the Delaware Valley.

Once again, we will recognize award recipients (member of the year / project of the year, etc.) who have been honored the past year by the various engineering and technical societies.
