2009 Engineers Week Golf Outing - October 1, 2009

GOLF OUTING A SUCCESS
Who would have thought a decade would go by so quickly?  The 10th Annual Engineers Week Golf Outing went off as scheduled on October 1st.  We had the event earlier this year so it would be warmer than in previous years (and this is the first year we didn’t have the event on a Friday!).  With the sun shining and some light wind, it turned into a great weather day for golf.

Approximately 80 golfers and wanna-bes (probably more of the latter, given the robust sales of “mulligans”!) showed up at Island Green Country Club for the event, and from all indications, a good time was had by all.

There was a surprise skill contest awaiting the golfers at Hole #15 – Beat Bozo the Clown (AKA Joe Syrnick)!

The Butch Kaupp team took the coveted Mulford Prism as this year’s Outing winner.  For the first time, Dick Mulford was able to present the Prism that bears his name to the winner.

The 9th Annual Engineers Week Golf Outing was held October 17, 2008 at Island Green Country Club. This event has contributed needed funds to support the various scholarship awards and events that introduce students to the many facets of the engineering profession. In addition to enjoying a beautify fall day of golfing and networking with peers and clients, your participation aids in our mission to educate our youth to the role of engineers in society.
